It was the last day i see snow in Bavaria, it was a surprise for me in late April. Enjoy!

Between Alpine peaks and lake paradise : Füssen in the Allgäu at the southern end of the “Romantic Road ” is one of the most impressive Bavarian holiday regions.

Füssen is a charming town located in the Bavarian region of Germany, nestled in the foothills of the Alps. It’s renowned for its picturesque setting, with breathtaking mountain landscapes, serene lakes, and lush greenery surrounding the town. Füssen is perhaps most famous for being the gateway to the Neuschwanstein Castle, one of the most iconic and picturesque castles in the world.

The town itself has a rich history dating back to Roman times, and its medieval old town is filled with colorful buildings, cobblestone streets, and quaint shops and cafes. Füssen also boasts several historic churches, such as the High Castle and the Baroque-style St. Mang’s Basilica, which add to its cultural allure.
The town is also situated along the Romantic Road, a scenic route through southern Germany that showcases the region’s stunning landscapes and charming villages.
