First of all, all the countryside france has can be found in other european countries. Second of all, the big problem of France are the French people, they are unbearable. Especially when you have to share an European Union with them.
As a person who is currently in France (Not in the depicted area) I can say that Paris, although overrated has its benefits. The ideal place to stay Normandie because of Mt Saint Michel. Although keep in mind that there is a reason that you can't find pictures of the actual town inside the abby.
as a french, i believe that paris is a little bit overrated (the city in itself is pretty but some parisians are rude) and although i am not very objective, i think my country has a lot to offer
