Travel, Safety, and the Reality of the Situation

Is it safe there? When it comes to travel and staying safe, obviously your destination makes a huge difference. But are people traveling to the safest countries? How do you know if a country is safe? I’m analyzing the Gallup Global Law and Order Report (https://www.gallup.com/analytics/356963/gallup-global-law-and-order-report.aspx) to find out how safe the countries are that we traveled to in the summer (Cambodia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, Japan, and Canada). You may be surprised how these countries stack up. We’ll also look at the most popular tourist destinations and see how safe they are compared to destinations that are commonly thought of as ‘dangerous’.
