I Rode 5 Different Trail Centers in Quebec These are my Thoughts
These are my Thoughts on the 5 different riding centers we rode while in Quebec – For what it’s worth the trip we went was a sponsored trip by Quebec City Mountain Biking, but this video wasn’t part of the requirement I just wanted to share some additional things that didn’t fit into the original videos.
Videos from this past trip (in the order we actually visited them.

I’ll take a vlog Phil channel 🙂
This is a great video – thanks for taking the time.
BTW – there is a video chronicling the building of that "extra sick" trail at Sentiers du Moulin – it is French but very interesting.
Strong video Phil it's cool to listen to your experiences. You might want to add some of that to other videos or do a video like this along with your other videos. But hands down my favorite video was awhile back you played some serious fast paced music while you were showing your ride, you could hear the abuse you, and your bike were taking. And then you'd switch over to Haley's video playing cute little music and listening to her absolute joy as she exclaimed we, weeee! I thought I was gonna die I was laughing so hard! Anyways… Love your videos!!! You two stay true to who you are and continue to have a great life!
PS you should bring back the stash… Even if it's just for one video.
Fantastic overview of your trip Phil! Thank you for linking all of your previous videos and explaining what happened behind the scenes. 🍻
Next time you go to VBN Shanahan, you should do Boréale, all the way from the top
Great recap. It is very informative to add in the final thoughts and details that didn’t make it into each of the specific ride videos.
Bang on review ! Now you gotta come back to MSA when its hopefully drier and ride the classics ! Could even dust off the DH bike for that one eh ? Also massively agreed with your view of Le Massif, they have such fantastic terrain, but they insist on keeping it family and casual friendly. And some of the better trails (Cigale and Fourmi) requiring a climb on top is quite annoying, even tho manageable (even on a DH bike). Can't wait to see your footage of Professeur X ! Might have to go check that one out when it opens and see how it goes on a HT 😅
And yeah the weather here is either hot and humid, or POURING down and humid it feels like 🥲
Are you talking about Professor X trail ? I think it’s open now 🙂 It looks SICK !!!
bro you dont have to justify why youre riding an ebike haters get over it
I ride these spots all the time, SDM #ftw
Very cool that you got to ride with two of our awesome volunteer trailbuilders 🙂
What a great recap of our beautiful city! Thank you Phil.
looked like someone was mining for gold at the 7:40 ish mark as well.
We are SO close to having the old mustache back!!! lol
Great videos!! Qc is so awesome for MTB!! Absolutely love all 5 centres! Can’t wait to go back 🤘
Thanks Phil. I've been wanting to head up there for some time and this was exactly the type of video I needed to help plan my trip. Hats off to you and Haley for riding some of the trails in less than ideal weather. This just confirms for me how great this area must be. Cheers!
I’ve really enjoyed this series ❤❤❤
Thanks for the detail description, Phil. I need to make my way up there.
I'm in Hanover, New Hampshire for a few years and I really hope I make it up to QC to ride before I have to leave!
Keep going farther into eastern Canada if any of you ever get the chance. New Brunswick alone has two lift access hills, Nova Scotia has one now and the trail systems in all of the maratime provinces have been blowing up in the last few years!
I went to QC a few weeks ago for a similar (non-sponsored) trip! I think you did a great job of hitting the key points.
I agree SdM just has something special; all the riding in QC is great, but SdM is Alice Lake levels of must-ride for lovers of gnarly tech stuff.
Loved this series of videos!!
Interesting during my visits to E47 over the last 4 years, we generally climbed it 5-7 times that day and again the next day. After similar at SDM.
That's a really good and comprehensive tour of the region, thank you Phil and Hailey! There's so much variety of trails around Quebec, there's something for everyone.
Next time you come to Quebec province you should try Val St-Come new bike park and there's a new jump line (pro line) 😉
Excellent video, clear information, entertaining, good job with the French names! Keep up the good work!
More food reviews near trail centers with your culinary background!
Glad you tried those places, also you went to Bromont. But you're missing on 2 spots.. hidden gems of Québec. Mont SM and also Recreo forestier 20 mins next to each other. Enduro places but the trails are sooo nice.
Petition to rename the video "Ultimate guide to riding mountain bike in Quebec City area"
Just came back from a MTB trip Colorado. I'm from Quebec and all the locals in Colorado knew about Quebec and wanted to travel there. Thanks to people like you who give us great visibility. Amazing video!
Yoooooooo vive le quebec!!!!!
