Day 1 : Les Houches to Les Contamines 10.5 miles

100+ miles. Three countries (France, Italy, Switzerland). Circling the Mont Blanc massif

A fantastic day in fantastic weather. We started by taking the Bellevue cable car up to beside Mt Lachat. We then spent the next 7 hrs crossing two passes (Col de Tricot and Col du Truc), a suspension bridge and alpine meadows to arrive at our destination
