We arrive in Valencia Spain. We go to the beach and the boys enjoy swimming. That night we have paella and then the next day we are robbed in the Turia Park in the Center of Valencia. We first go to the central market to buy food for a picnic to create a beautiful day. As the boys are playing on a rope jungle gym I am robbed. My bag is taken from our bench and immediately our day changes. Being robbed in a foreign city, alone with 4 children and realizing I have no phone, no money, no keys and no way of knowing what to do. It was a bit terrifying and what started off as a beautiful day went south quickly. The day ends well thanks to so many helpful strangers and the kindness of the Valencia police station.
