THEY CANCELLED OUR FLIGHTS!

Getting to Turkey is proving more difficult than we expected. The global IT outage has impacted more than one set of our flights so after saying goodbye to Eddie, Steve must solo camp in northern Turkey. Join us this week for one of our most challenging weeks in Motorhome VanLife.

Our family have been roaming around the UK, Europe and US since 2007. We set off on each trip with only a rough destination in mind, allowing the roads we take and places we stop to evolve as we meet new friends along the way.

  1. Was in Turkey years ago and the people were so lovely. Oh my what a shame about the cancelled flights. Yuove had a bad start but that means you will have a fantastic stress free holiday from now on. Aww, to see Steves face when he saw Lynsey and the boys. Made me tear up awww. xx

The Turkish people are so welcoming and hospitable

I worked from 1996 to 2016 for an ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ cartridge hydraulic valve manufacturer based in Chicago who opened up a hub in Birmingham in 1994/5
They wanted us to deal with Europe, TURKEY, India, Russia , Slovakia, Hungary etc

And one of our customers was HIDROMEK
    One office in Ankara
    One office in Ismir

  3. I'm just wondering how you crossed the Canakkale bridge, presumably west to east? Then ended up back on the west side, having to take the ferry to go east again?
Did someone tell you about the Boomerang bar, as all the reviews were exactly like you found? That is one place I would love to take the caravan, it looks like the best place I've ever seen for a weeks relaxing by the sea with the smell of grilled meat and fish everywhere๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
Cheers and good luck with the rest of the trip ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿฅ‚

  8. Not sure if its doable or beneficial for you guys but when i upload on the road i always copy the movie file to my phone and then upload it from there, saves tethering ( and power there on your phone) and saves the battery on your laptop, i then edit the titles thumbnails and such on the laptop later
