1. Koror, Palau
Koror is a province and city in Palau. Koror used to be the capital of Palau before it was moved to Ngerulmud. Made up of several islands, Koror is home to 90% of Palau’s population.
Most of Koror City is on Koror Island or Oreor Island. The city is connected by several bridges with other cities.
2. Ngardmau Falls
Ngardmau is one of sixteen states in Palau and is located on the western side of Babeldaob between the states of Ngaraard and Ngaremlengui. Its total area is 205 square miles (530 km2). According to the last census, 221 people live in Ngardmau. 46 households are located in three hamlets: Ngetbong, Ngerutoi and Urdmau. The hamlets here have no visible boundaries, but form one settlement.
3. Rock Islands
The Palau Rock Islands, also called Chelbacheb, are a collection of several hundred small limestone or coral uprisings in the Southern Lagoon of Palau between Koror and Peleliu, now part of Koror State. There are between 250 and 300 islands in this group according to different sources, with an overall area of 42 square kilometers (16 square miles) and a maximum height of 207 meters (679 feet). These islands were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012.
