On our interrailing stop in Bratislava we decided to hit up the popular Slovak Pub for some Bryndzové Halušky (slovakian potato dumplings), before heading out on a lovely Danube river cruise. The cruise took us to the gorgeous Devín Castle, a historic monument and Slovakian heritage site!

Ps: Goulash is originally a Hungarian dish, but other countries in Europe have their own variation of the dish. I tried a local Bratislava variation on goulash.

Cathrine (VikingGoesGlobal) and Dan (An Englishman) spend 3 weeks traveling, interrailing and backpacking through central and eastern Europe, visiting 7 countries along the way. Croatia – Bosnia & Herzegovina – Slovenia – Austria – Slovakia – Czech Republic – Poland.
