  1. I'm quite impressed that you are able to walk in the sun for hours despite having food and drinks on the way. I would have "melted". ๐Ÿ˜…

  2. That tofu snack reminds me of a recipe > Chocolate tofu loaf cake (gluten free). Furin is not ideal during the ghost month over here. Haha. I always wondered the coffee latte is coffee or coffee flavoured milk.

  3. Spotted 9:29 – foreigner with plastic samurai sword tucked in his back. Do i get a prize? hahaha this is why Japanese avoid foreigners much…. so weird LOL

  4. Thank you for showing us around! Hoppy street was such a treat — The Ninja Bar is a great karaoke bar under one of the shลtengai ๅ•†ๅบ—่ก— in Asakusa. Never quit Rion You're an inspiration

  5. Summer Obon walking adventure in Tokyo. Lovin' it. It's always great to see beautiful Ueno park. Arigatougozaimasu, Rion! ๐Ÿ‘

  6. Hi Rion, what a lovely summer video! Glad to see how it is during Obon.ย
I wonder Rion, if u know about new app/ web called surutto qrtto for epass in kansai region?
Can foreigner used it for buying passes?

  7. The over-crowding is horrible it ruins every place. temples, shops, cafes, observation floors. of course in immigration line at narita (1-2 hour waiting time) and crowded trains, crowded streets, places like donki stores – you wait 15 minutes in line to buy a few chocolates. Japan is so not enjoyable due to mass tourism that what you see is far worse on the ground.
The street he showed leading to the temple is about 50 minutes of slow crowd-walking in 35-40c heat.

  8. I love Japan but itโ€˜s really sad to see that things like animal shows for example this street perfomer with the monkey are still a thing. ๐Ÿ™ as sweet as it looks, itโ€˜s still animal abuse.

  9. Awesome video like always, thank you for showing us how busy it's there right now. I hate crowds but I would still like to visit one day just to do a summer festival and to see the summer fireworks.

I liked how you said "Duh." About the trash cans. It sadly is a problem and I wish there were more trash cans in Japan too.

I love Chipotle! And it makes me happy that you have tried Barbacoa meat! I'm originally from South Texas and it's a tradition as a Mexican-American to eat Barbacoa Tacos for breakfast.

My husband and I are going back to Japan in February and hope we bump into you to say "GAO" ๐Ÿฆ

  10. You are a beast for braving the heat! We visited a couple weeks ago and really struggled with the intense summer heat, but had a great time regardless. Make sure you take care of yourself during the summer!
