Lost in Lebanon: Day 1 – Beirut (November 2023: 1 week after Israel invaded Gaza).
Having entered the Damascus Marathon in Syria, the only feasible way to get in to the country, was overland from Lebanon. I decided to take an extended stay in Lebanon, so this is Day 1 after finally arriving in to Beirut after numerous flight cancellations, due to the increasing hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon.
