Daily Life in Bodrum, Turkey | + Grocery Store Haul (with prices!) & Fresh Figs | Turkish Village

Come along for a peek into daily summer life here in Bodrum, Turkey. We’ll stop by a small village farmers market and load up on fresh figs. Plus, I’ll show you around a File grocery store chain and do a full shopping haul with current prices. How do the grocery prices in Turkey compare to where you live? Spend a casual day with me enjoying the sights of a countryside Turkish village. If you’d like to see more from my perspective as an American living in Turkey, please consider subscribing to my YouTube channel and giving this video a thumbs up. Until next time, thanks!

  1. I’m from Toronto and I’m married to a Turk from Izmir. Married for 35 years but always have lived in Canada/US. About the “figs” when I first got married and went to turkey and tasted the figs I could not stop eating them that I ended up going to the doctor with extreme stomach cramps… I think I ate a bushel myself I’ve never tasted such sweet juicy things in my life…. usually we have them here from California and they sure tasted different. Thank you for sharing your Vlog.
