Hey Matt. I wrote the wrong ship earlier. I meant Liberty of the Seas instead of Independence for the Christmas cruise this year. Would you recommend Liberty or Allure ?

Someone recently pointed out that the daily gratuity is nothing more than a service charge that should be part of the advertised price. The cruise lines need to adopt ethics and stop hiding reality. Let's rise up and demand a change to their dirty ethics. Contact your Congress person, travel agency, state governor, etc. They are such a deceptive blood sucking industry, and RCL is one of the leaders.
Query anyone: On the Ovation Of the Seas (Oz-NZ) is there plenty of vegetarian options or do you have to request?

Are there luggage restrictions as far as size and also how does gratuity work? Do you pay when you book or can you pay once you get on the ship? Or pay before trip ends
I would pay for a specialty dining experience that included having a seat to watch your stream in person. Those people leaving their table don’t know what they’re missing.

You can do universal City Walk too, it’s like Disney Springs!! They’re both fun.
Slight clarification: You can adjust pricing after final payment IF you move up a cabin class (e.g. obstructed balcony to unobstructed balcony room). This may save you money if prices have dropped a lot.
If you have a GTY room and you get assigned a room in a poor location, you can switch to another available room in the same class for free, contact your travel agent. The class has to be exactly the same, e.g. 4B, not just "balcony"

I loved my cruise on Anthem!! I have 103 days until Coco Cay on Oddysey! First time on the ship and I can't wait. Liberty (4 cruises) is still my favorite, though. Have a great cruise, Matt!
