  1. Obviously Thailand it's better, I'd rather die than to live in a sithole and poverty filled country of Claimbodia, they wanna be Thai so bad lmao. All they're good for is that Angkor Wat thing, nothing about them is authentic, they claim and steal Thai Culture, Outfits, Architecture etc. they try to claim everything to be their own and do nothing for their culture.

  2. Great description spot on. What is your preferred area for longterm living in Bangkok (not a holiday)? Could be nice with a video and description of your top 3-4 areas for expats. (vibe, restaurants, rent prices, shopping, etc.)

  3. As usually, very helpful. Thank you! Since you mentioned running out of passport pages, what is the process for either renewing or getting a new passport when in SE Asia? Difficult? Lengthy?

  4. Interesting the prices are pretty similar. Given the country development levels as evident in the infrastructure differences and modernness/cleanliness, this definitely gets my attention. Thanks for the info. Will do more research on Cambodia to see what accommodation costs are like. Both cities are on my slow travel list. Will also remember to go for the passport option with more pages based on losing a page per visit, which is a bit painful. Having the option to go on holiday from one paradise to another paradise is great…

  5. When I was there, I felt 99% of the time, shops or restaurants want dollars. But when they didn’t have enough dollars to give me back, they gave me Riel and not gave me back in dollars. I loved their sidewalk; way wider than here (I am Thai). Food is kind of bland and people were nice. I agree many can speak English.

  6. Nice first impression of PP. The capital city is much more relaxed and easy, less traffic than super hectic Bangkok. French influence brings in a wide variety of Khmer-French dishes. Spoken English within the city is a big plus for long term expats.
    Thanks for sharing !

  7. Try Siem Reap with your wife. Very relaxing, small village vibe but very touristy which has pros and cons. Angkor Wat is amazing to see at least once but you need a good guide to go to the must see spots. Otherwise it’s too much.

  8. I think you have some good observations of PP vs. BKK, but really it's hard to compare an 11 million pop. city with a 2 million one. The currency thing in Cambodia is not confusing at all if you spend more than a week there. I guess I like, and seek out, the less gentrified places, and BKK is extremely gentrified. It's not the Bangkok of 2010 that I once knew. If you leave the riverside or Ball Sack Lane, which you featured prominently in your footage, I think you'll find people are extremely friendly. Same goes for Vietnam, let's say, Da Nang. Get out of the tourist rut and people actually are extremely friendly and welcoming. Dealing with tourists all day just wears people out.

  9. That's a fair summary of Phnom Penh, from a tourists view.Anyone visiting Cambodia please keep in mind, that only 45 years ago, that the Khmer Rouge turned Cambodia into a basket case, it's come a long way in that time. Thanks for the video.
