  1. Great video. It looks like this squarely hits Airbnb type businesses who have been renting out for a week or even just a weekend – the typical profile of Brits on a quick break to the Costas – they'll be back in hotels. The traditional Spanish national summer rental of all-of-August looks like it's unaffected. I don't understand why it's 11 days, though. I would have thought 16 days would discourage two week rentals as well which would be almost all Brit summer holiday stays. I wholeheartedly approve of Valencia's initiative – locals can't compete for small homes when they're all being snapped up by wealthy speculators using platforms like Airbnb to rake in the equivalent of many thousands of Euro monthly rental for a small home.
