Overland from UK to Bordeaux
This episode begins in Harrogate UK where I had a business meeting for a few hours and we immediately head back to France. UK was chaotic and we desired to get back to the country side of France.
We enjoy some great fish and chips prior to getting on the Chunnel and book an AirBnB just out side of the Chunnel becaue Joy had to teach a class at 3am (3pm Hawaii time) as she is a professor at the University of Hawaii.
The next day (after one of us got a good nights rest) we continued the 10 hour drive in heavy rain to Chateaux Villette where we would stay the next 3 nights.
While there we catch huge record Carp and start what will be a theme for the rest of our summer. Catch fish all over Europe.
Although we have stayed at Chateaux Vallette before, we never took the time to explore the local villages around the area. This time we was able to take in all the local sights before heading back to Germany.
We rested a few days and headed out to Lake Garda Italy and that will be the subject of the next video.
I am an American surfer who moved from Hawaii to Europe temporarily to explore the backroads of Europe and surf every break. To do this I bought a Land Rover Defender as most of the time it is about the journey more than the destination.
This channel is all about balancing career, finance, and living life to the fullest. If done correctly, you should not have to sacrifice one for the other.
