  1. For a deeper insight into that beautiful region that is sitting on the border with Germany (over the centuries, both France and Germany have alternatively claimed that region as theirs), watch "Alsace, France: Route du Vin – Rick Steves’ Europe Travel Guide – Travel Bite"
and "Colmar, France: Alsace's Most Enchanting City – Rick Steves’ Europe Travel Guide – Travel Bite"

And, to awaken the child that slumbers in you, watch: "Christmas Markets in Strasbourg, Colmar, and Alsace Wine Villages, France" – denniscallan

    Enjoy!

  2. france is dead
churches are burning, all small villages are infested with drugs & incivilities
    drivers are reckless
people are selfish & hardly ever kind
school is a lgbtetc machine to destroy souls with astonishing rates of illiterate children older than 10
violence is everywhere with a police only good to check qrcodes
corruption is the first rule among 99.9% of elected people
natural resources have been handed over to the big corps
taxes rates are insane & 95% of it are not going back to the people
& most people lives in denial of those facts deeply believing the french empire born from war & proselytism has a cultural & geographical legitimacy as a unit (it doesn't, every french region should be one or more separate countries)
an example of their delusion : a huge part of french believe the rest of the world thought the olympics were magnificent & gave a great image of france & paris to the world…

  3. Situated in the northeast of France, along the German border and down to the Swiss border, the Alsace province of France is a unique and successful meet and mix of French and German(ic) cultures. Just like its food which is the marriage between the generosity of German food and the refinement of French cuisine. For centuries Alsace has been the cause of many fights and wars between between France and Germany. It's alternated between both countries no less than five times from the 1680's until 1945 – thus the influence of both French and German cultures there. It now is a symbol of peace in modern day Europe, the main witness of the reconciliation and of the friendship that now exists between our two countries.
Culturally, one interesting aspect of French culture is that, besides a common "French pot", its regions display more specific, local influences and cultures: e.g. Germanic in the northeast, Latin/Mediterranean in the south, Celtic in Brittany… This is also why traditional architecture is quite different according to the region you're in. To make it short, France is much more than just Paris and the Riviera.
