#indonesianfood #laketoba #indonesia #streetfood #batak #samosir

In this video, I will take you on a Lake Toba street food adventure like no other featuring traditional Batak food, local fish, tribal village market and much more.

To start our Indonesian street food tour in Samosir, we went to the largest tribal village market on the island and we managed to try Mie Sop, Es Campur and a local Martabak. This Batak village market is one of the best I’ve ever visited.

To continue our Indonesian street food tour in Samosir, we went to a local restaurant to taste some traditional Batak food.

Moving on with our Indonesian street food tour in Samosir, we visited incredibly beautiful sights like Sibeabea and a Batak Ulos village full of traditional Batak houses.

To end our Indonesian street food tour in Samosir, we went for a huge Lake Toba seafood feast and ended our food adventure with an insane Pizza made with a homemade brick oven.

Hope you enjoyed our Indonesian street food tour in Samosir, Indonesia.

  1. Thank you for promoting my hometown Max. The work you're doing is incredible. It's a simple but meaningful culinary journey. This is big and really appreciated for promoting Samosir; hopefully, more and more people will come to Samosir to enjoy its beauty (food, hospitality, and nature). Good work.

  2. Hi, can you please tell me how do you rent a car from KNO to Parapat or Samosir Island? Also while in Samosir Island, can you give me your drivers while renting a car?

  3. Really like your content while supporting all the locals. Lake Toba definitely one of the very few places that really bring peace when you are there, especially in samosir island. I used to visit 3-4 times a year when I was living in medan many years ago. Look forward to your next video. Cheers!

  4. Before entering Batak's house especially "Ruma Bolon" we usually say "Horas". That is Batakneese culture. Thank You for sharing Batak's to the world, horas!!! 🙏
