Time has stopped in this forgotten French manor, abandoned since 2016. Once a place filled with life and laughter, it now stands still—silent—where nature has begun its slow, inevitable reclamation. Overgrowth twists its way through the gardens, roots creeping towards the manor’s heart, as if to envelop its secrets within.
This was the home of the Ducau family. Mr. Jean-Orelle, his beloved wife, and their two daughters made memories here, as we can see through old photographers inside. In the living room, we find a stack of old photographs —capturing the manor in its heyday, when the fire glowed warmly in the hearth and the walls echoed with joy. But now, those images contrast sharply with the cold silence that fills the space today.
The laughter has faded, as if their story has been paused, awaiting its rediscovery.
Today, we walk through the remnants of their life and family history. Forgotten… but not lost. Let us uncover what remains, buried beneath the silence of this forsaken place.

Great job Boys!! I believe the black see through “Lingerie” is a head scarf to protect the hair style while sleeping.

Such beautiful furniture and light fixtures, great video.
I love your France explorations. This place had a different vibe that's for sure. I like the way you show all the details. It is very true that cabinets always seem to be left behind sadly. Usually, the top is separate and just sitting on the main piece. Very heavy furniture. My great grandmother's kitchen cupboards were made in such a way they were huge I wish I had them in my home today. The family decided to just sell the house with those left inside a very difficult decision to make. We literally had no help to move them. But as for all the other things that could be moved, we would never consider leaving them behind I have many of those items to this day. I have no clue why such items as photos and the wonderful porcelain vases just get left behind. It is sad in any case. I totally loved the small chandelier in the first bedroom you entered with its different colored tear drop crystal prisms hanging I've not seen one like it. The last bedroom shown had wallpaper I would totally make use of in my home. The bed was a beauty as well. All this furniture is made so well that it would take a lot of manpower to move. It truly is unfortunate to see the lovely pieces just only be left to decay. It always sends my mind into a state of quandary. It looks as if the owner really took the bathroom into great consideration, it too was different from others that I've seen there is a place and time for pink in my life but I'm not the biggest fan of it. It worked out very well in this bathroom though. Colbalt blue would be grand in that style but none the less it was very unusual. Thank you Maurano and Remone for another peek into the world of exploration. Bravo'
Your video was super!
Maravilloso me encanta sois los mejores 😊
Their furniture is beautiful. I cant believe the daughter disnt come to pick it up and take family's pictures 😢💔 I could never leave all the pictures beind
Hello from Japan. It is a very beautiful house. I cannot understand why the inhabitants of this house have left, leaving behind family photos. If I imagine my own family home like this, I would burst into tears.🥺
Why didn't the occupants of this house take the family photo away? Did they run away in the night in a hurry?😢
Guys please be careful, I had a bad feeling about your safety. Please use caution and wisdom in your exploring.
Wow this manor is beautiful! I still see beauty & character here even with decay! Wonderful video as usual! 👍❤️🤘
I love that you put up a side by side with the pic near the fireplace! That was cool ❤
16:23 The design on the tiles look like pipes.

I think you should go easy on the shooting. I always feel dizzy when I watch your movies.
Beautiful home with very special bedrooms. The light fixture in the master bedroom was unique and my favorite. The bedrooms for the family were very nice! Thank you for sharing this wonderful exploration. Stay safe my friends. ❤ Maureno and Remon.

Great video beautiful place

Hey Maureno, Explomo, I rewatched this video of an unique explore in that considerably big French mansion with all these still well preserved rooms. – Beautifully and very poetically formulated introduction! Respect, bro! – The rooms were really full of remarkably interesting antiques. Real time capsules! I loved the main living room with that very ornate colourful chandelier. – The bedrooms with their marvellous carved furniture were absolutely wonderful to see. Style wise I would say late 19.th century historism style. – The forgotten photographs showing highlights of the family history of the former owners is so deeply touching to see! – A really wonderful explore, you were doing together with Remon! – And – I loved the deep respect you were showing during your explore!
I am already looking forward to your next explore adventure and wishing you fullheartedly all the best, peace and kindest regards from Switzerland.
It's quite a nice place with a cute garden, beautiful from the outside, and from the inside, 3 beautiful bedrooms that i really love, and a lot of nice old stuff and beautiful furniture 😍😍😍
It's interesting what you show, but it will be even more interesting to unravel the history of the family. Ask neighbors, the town mayor and other sources of information. Good luck.
