A fascinating day of exploring in the very historic city of Alexandria, Egypt, founded by Alexander the Great, home of Cleopatra and attacked by Julius Caesar.

Alexander the Great's mother was called Olympias. Little greek history lessonπ
Amazing archeological sites. Kinda weird where are not a lot of tourists here. You got a private tour!
βπ»my favorite Traveler!
you like egypt? for me its the worst country to visit! People aren't nice to tourists. only wants money, money, money for nothing. In egypt people tried to scam me every 20 minutes for 1 week π«£
Fascinating catacombs, love the relief carvings
Excellent video. Very informative.
Safe travels, Gabriel.
Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa completely captivated me.Thank you that I could be present at an interesting lecture with you.π
The beauty of Invaders left their art, culture, knowledge! Dear Gabriel, Llet unknown & Unexpected Blessing found you while you are in Egypt!!!
Impressive always wondered what the Catacombs were. Hard to believe they constructed that so long ago. And imagine no HVAC there in those deep vaults. Thanks Gabriel.
Hi Gabriel, that was fascinating the catacombs were outstanding much like the pyramids with so many cryptic messages there. many people don't know this, but Jesus and the Virgin Mary lived in Matareyah Egypt when he was a young boy for 2 to 4 years escaping King Herod's wrath.
"RA is the horizon."
The music makes me wanna cry, nostalgic or whatever.
I loved the enthusiasm of the guide, Eygptians are so proud of their history, and rightly so. Great video Gabriel.
Imagine Egipt without the ppl hassling you. And no stomach issues. Ohh man…
Whoa, I think I just had deja vu. Was there another video with that horse drawn cart at 1:12 or did I just remember dreaming it?? I enjoyed watching your walking tour. π BTW-How much was the catacombs tour guide?
Day after day ππͺπ«
You see these is the one I am talking about! Kobra/Python The Spirit that harm us VS The Spirit of God help us!!!
40 minute uber for that price?!
Salmon/Steak with sauce:)
Even the odd first day in Egypt was alright to see Gabriel. It left this viewer Craig the budget novice traveler, but not for long guy. UK. Wondering about what next? Alexandria has probably the best catacombs ever. In comparison to decorated Jian temples or Byzantine churches.
Loving the prices of Egypt! Go Gabe. Alexandrian fortress reminded me of the place you went where the Muslims asked you about your faith. The place where they said Jesus is buried under the Muslims mosque. Good court yard!
Your scanning way to fast in the Citadel. Very poorly done π .
Sources say Ptolemy I captured the convoy that was supposed to take Alexander the Great to Macedon to take his remains to Alexandria. Latest sources about the subject say Caligula ( third emperor of the Roman Empire era) stole his armor and what happened to his tomb is still a mystery.. hope we can discover his tomb during our lifetime. Alexandria seems well worth to visit. Thanks for the video and safe travels, Gabe.
alexandria kind of resembles india, no?
be careful man, that area might get pulled into some chaos yet again soon.
Lots of history up in that joint!!!!
great guide… gritty yes ….nice!!!!π₯€tanx
Amazing job Gabriel! The music and video quality editing reminding of a Quentin Tarantino movie. Especially parts of the catacombs and Uber ride. Wishing you only the best.
Very interesting city! You can actually use Uber to get between the cities in Egypt at decent rates if you don't want to take the buses, I would have thought you would spend more than just one day in Alexandria though
I think the new Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo would be worth a video.
There is an archaeologist from Alexandria who has been digging in the city, specifically in a park, for years, if not decades, believing that the tomb of Alexander the Great is located there. It would be a global sensation if her assumption is correct and she were to discover it one day. Ever since, I have been following everything related to the city with great interest. The part where you were in the catacombs with the guide was super interesting. I look forward to your next videos.
