Welcome to Hidden Tokyo, 5 Minutes from Asakusa by Train | JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG | Kitasenju
Hi everyone😊
This time I’m traveling to Kitasenju, a hidden gem of Tokyo that’s just a 5 minutes train ride from Asakusa.
Kitasenju, known as a town of Izakaya (Japanese pub) and public bathhouse, is charming with its a quaint and traditional atmosphere🏮
Please enjoy!

Hi! I have a question. Do you use a tripod to capture shots/videos? 😊
I like to visit Tokyo in January for the Hatsu Sumo Tournament. I always stay in Kitasenju for a week. The Coco Grand Hotel has a rotemburo in the public baths. It is also well placed for visiting places around the North part of Tokyo and even Saitama. This past January I went to climb Mt. Tsukuba. (Much harder to climb than Mt. Takao.) This past January I also discovered a Niku Sushi restaurant (West of the station). Very tasty raw horse and beef dishes. Bawasa (horse with wasabi) was delicious and went well with cold nihonshu. I enjoyed your stroll through Kitasenju.
I have just discovered your channel, and enjoyed this video. Cool style and nice music, I like it, and have subscribed, and will now watch a few of your other vlogs.
I think that the first time I was in Japan, I had lunch in the same restaurant (or a very similar looking restaurant) in Asakusa. I came upon it by chance, and really loved the old fashioned ambience and the tasty and cheap Sukiyaki set lunch.
Hallo Mona, vielen Dank für das wunderschöne Video. Habe Ihren Kanal gleich abonniert. Alles Gute für Sie aus Deutschland.
