ROBBY’S TOUR #4 – Citrus House, Tel Aviv
In 1947 the underground paramilitary group headed by Menachem Begin want to blow up a building called Citrus House in Tel Aviv where the British Mandate Tel Aviv headquarters was located. They rented a cellar in a building across the street pretending to use it to store potatoes but indeed they were digging a tunnel. There plan was to tunnel under the road and when they were underneath Citrus House they would plant explosive. Find out what happened.
