Meet Niels – he is from one of the world’s most isolated towns (Ittoqqortoormiit, Greenland). He grew up alongside polar bears and massive glaciers inside the largest national park and fjord system on earth. He knows all 350 residents in his town by name and the closest city is thousands of kilometers away.
Despite traveling and studying overseas, he chooses to remain back home because he loves his hometown. That’s very admirable!
It was a pleasure spending the day with Niels in one of the most fascinating places I’ve ever been. I hope to go back again another in the wintertime!
