  1. there are many cultural places you can visit in Dubai but no tourist wants to visit them. but I agree with the heat go to Dubai in the winter very beautiful and lively with very much outdoors activities!

  2. Disappointing or not is a very subjective thing, but naming "language barrier" as a reason for disappointment is kinda ridiculous. I think the local people should feel sorry not being a former British colony or not making English the essential part of the life?

  3. I don't question the inclusion of LA. I've been there several times and I don't find it a very interesting place after a while. But talking about it's traffic woes, which are real, while showing images of freely moving traffic or no traffic at all makes the opposite point.

The section on Bali was even worse.

  4. Lisbon. Ugly, smelly, infrastructure like from mid Africa. No spirit, terrible custoner servise, everyone is anniyed, slow, and wants to rip you of. 95% is fake, fraud and ripoff withou an ounce of decency.

  5. I have been to four of these cities. NYC, LA, Paris, and Las Vegas, at least two times in each city. All have something good about them. But as destinations they are overrated. Paris, London, and Rome built up their reputation in the 19th century, when great cities were rare in the world. Today, big fancy cities are a dime a dozen, and they all look the same. San Francisco and Amsterdam are good destinations if you are younger and like to explore night life. Neither is as stuffy or aloof as Paris, or as underwhelming like LA and NYC. You must love to gamble to love Vegas. Taste has also evolved. I myself prefer authentic cultural experience even if such places may be poorer. Comfort is overrated. The good life is a mirage.
