      If coming from the US, dont bring elec appliances like hair dryers or elec razors. They will work very quickly for a very short time, then never again. Thailand voltage is 220 volts 50Hz not 110V 60 Hz.

      I'm a retired Canadian military member, l retired to Thailand in January. Because I'm a retired member of the military l was able to bring 3 suitcases each weighing 75 lbs ea for free with Air Canada, including my carry on and a back pack. Like Chuck says bring those items. If you are 2xxl in your clothing size and a long or wide shoe size, bring at least a couple pairs of different types of foot wear and several pairs of breathable shorts, underwear and shirts. Shaving cream for sure. Razor blades. Sun screen. Vitamins as well as they are more expensive here. I shopped Costco for months for the end of seasons sales before l came over.

      I used to buy expensive razors but recently I tried the plastic, triple, swivel headed razors from MrDIY their own brand, I honestly couldn’t tell the difference at a cost of about 50b for 5:-) give them a try
