I'm Asian American and don't like takoyaki either. Also those 10 yen mozzarella cheese and pancake coins were terrible as well. Both of these two items are severely overrated in my opinion. What I loved in Osaka was the wagyu steak I had at "New Matsusaka Fuse Honten". That was absolutely mind blowing, easily the best steak I had in my life. Nice grocery store footage – half the fun of going to Asia are the grocery store and konbini runs.
I also live Osaka. It's really cool and nice. May it be a good memory.👍

I'm a Japanese high school student, but I live in Kanagawa Prefecture, so I don't have a chance, or I've never been to Kyoto or Osaka. Of course I want to go! And when you watch a video of overseas people travelling happily like this, you can feel the fulfilment of the trip and it will be very fun.

It is a pity ye didn't like the takoyaki but each shop has somehow different way to make it or put some ingredients so it would be different opinion if ye had ones from other shops.
My Kiwi female friend in Tokyo loves Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki.
I haven't been to Ireland for almost 30 years.
I have met some Irish people at Universal Studios Japan since the last year. Three Irish lads and I were on the same Mario kart 🙂

The pre-packaged okonomiyaki and gyoza you buy at the supermarket are cold.
Maybe the hotel didn't have a microwave? I think it would have been better if it had been warmed up. When you eat them at the shop, they are warm and taste even better.
