FRANCE’S OLDEST MEDIEVAL VILLAGE – A TASTER OF THIS ART LOVERS PARADISE

Saint Paul de Vence is a highly unusual and astonishingly pretty “perched village” (meaning atop a hillside and often fortified) just North of Nice in the French Riviera or as the french call it, the “Cote D;Azur)

A pedestrianized town with very few inhabitants but oozing charm and character. It is believed to be one of the if not the oldest medieval town in France. It really is a must visit if you can get there. It’s definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing places that I visited during this 3 month filming tour of the area.
