The drive starts at Camping Les 2 glaciers in Le Monêtier-les-Bains, Hautes-Alpes, and heads to Valloire, passing through 2 mountain passes, Col du Lautaret (2,058 m / 6,752 ft) and Col du Galibier (2,642 m / 8,668 ft) .
