Iraqi Airways – Boeing 737 MAX 8 – Economy Class Flight Review – Baghdad to Amman
Welcome along for this Iraqi Airways flight review. We’ll be checking out regional economy class on one of their newer Boeing 737 MAX-8 planes, flying from Baghdad over to Amman, Jordan.
Iraqi Airways has a long and storied history. These days, they are working to increase their footprint following decades of conflict. They took ownership of several new MAX-8’s in 2023, with more in the works. It’s a nice step up from their older 737-800’s.
As you’ll see in this trip report, there’s a lot to like about the hard and soft product on offer (and a thing or two for them to work on improving). There was seatback entertainment and even a modest meal service– pretty nice for such a short flight!
