We are on the East Coast oof Florida, and besides all the flooding it was ok. Always ask for opinions, because itās always better to stay put than be caught on the road in a hurricane!

Our five year old was able to ride Flight of Passage for the first time this summer and when got on the ride and it started he leaned over and asked āAm I blue yet?ā
It was my favorite ride on flight ever.

I had a full breakdown at the Riviera when they found a room for us the day before the storm hit. We happened to snag a reservation for breakfast at Topolinoās and my husband asked the front desk for a room. We evacuated from Bradenton to Orlando as we were going to be at AKL anyway for my kids birthdays (2 years apart) later that week after the storm hit. We were stuck staying at the Hilton by Disney Springs as Disney stated there were no rooms available anywhere when we
called multiple times, and letās just sayā¦itās NOT Disney. I did not want to stay there. I was so happy and grateful for our family to be able to stay at the Riviera and they were amazing! We put in so many cast member compliments during our stay it was ridiculous.

Going through some rough times with family lately and clicking on this video made my night! Disney is such a great escape. Thanks for sharing the footage of the trip and so glad you all came out ok from the weather !
Disney is soooooo expensive now that we havenāt taken our kids in over 13 years. So disappointingā¦FL Keys is a better deal. More affordable & no lines!!!

A friend of mine was stuck at Disney, too. He and his partner decided that it was better to just stay.
I love your compassion and empathy for people in the storms' paths. I am from Middle GA, and we were very lucky here. Hurricanes Helene and Milton have devastated the Southeast. Not just the coastline but as far north as the mountains North Carolina. I know y'all must have been scared, but I think staying was definitely the best decision and one I know you didn't take lightly. Hope the storm didn't scare the girls too much.

You are staying in a DVC room, it will have free laundry. Please don't tell people to come and do free laundry there. DVC members pay for those in our dues. It is NOT for those staying at campsites.
Flight of passage is my favorite ride of all time!
We went through Hurricane Milton, my parents were in the direct eye of the storm in Tampa Bay. It was definitely scary. So glad you guys were accomodated at Coronado Springs. I appreciate Jessica and her prayers, I know they helped.
I can hear your stress in your voice. Iām so glad everything was ok for you all and that the storm thankfully wasnāt as bad as it looked like it would be on the coast. Watching this so long after is a good reminder of not to take anything for granted. I forgot how stressful it was. Even just watching from afar in Kansas lol. Also felicityās curls!!!!! Oh my how cuuuuute!!!!!!

The cabins at Fort wilderness are part of DVC and you never pay for laundry at a DVC resort.
lightening lanes are ruining the disney magic. they are forcing your hand into buying them because of the overwhelming crowds. i wish ppl would ban together and refuse to buy them bc a family of 4, $30 each would be another $500 on top of an already expensive trip
