Why the AI generated commentary? It sure sounds like it.
I've been twice, one of my favorite areas! Now I'm dreaming of Tarte Flambée.
A really lovely video, I was fortunate to have French parents though I wasn't raised in France, but every school holiday, I would go to my parents and they'd take me to visit parts of France like Alsace and it's towns like Strasbourg ( to eat at a Maison Kamerzell), wander through Colmar, Trois Epis which was a memorable holiday, in 1974. They wanted to eat wild boar dans les Voges…(as an English youngster, I'd prefer toasted cheese), we went to visit many caves to buy Pinot Noir, everything was quaint and beautiful and such good quality just like your video but about 50 yrs ago. It was SUCH a lovely surprise you've made this video. Thank You so much, your videos evoke so many teenage memories of French food and trips throughout La France. Chapeau!!
10:57 Oh mon dieu ! C’est très succulent !
Do yourselves a favor and visit the same area before Christmas. Magical. Simply magical. Thank you so much for showing us my favorite towns in all of France.
We were thinking of retiring from UK (but we're Canadian 😊) to Brittany but now thinking of Alsace. We visited the area including Kaysersberg (sadly now known for the passing of Anthony Bourdain) and Eguishem— the prettiest village of them all. Colmar pretty but waaaaay too touristy. Since following you from the beginning your French accent is getting stronger Antoine! C'est super!
OMG…watching this..I can sense my ancestors! The scenery is superb, the food excites my stomach..and my pores start seeping when I hear the word riesling! Thank you so much for this sweet, endearing few days away from the crowds…
Please tell me you purchased the talking bird. I laughed my ass off.
We were there for 3 days before heading to Paris. It’s beautiful!
🎵🎤…The weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful…🎼🎄🎅 that circular staircase at the castle… spectacular! That stew is huge! What was your dish called, Antoine? It looks delicious! I just love watching your episodes! So good.
Merci beaucoup Les Frenchies! My husband and I have been to the Christmas markets in Germany and Austria and in a couple of weeks, we are going to Alsace to check out the Christmas markets there. This video could not have been better timed. I can already smell the Gluwein! I would love to see a video on the French Christmas markets. Love your channel!
Thank you for introducing me to the authentic art, history, beauty and cuisine of France. We’re planning a trip next year and can’t wait!
I had forgotten that Fredrick Agustva Bartoldhi was from Colmar. Besides the original Statue in NYC, there are many other smaller Statue of liberty models. One on the Seine river near the Eiffel tower and a 42 foot model near the rainbow bridge in Japan!!!! 🗽
Beautiful.
I am going on a Christmas market cruise in Dec 25, and an optional tour is to Colmar. I think I need to go there!!
This is a “must watch”. I forwarded it to a friend who is taking his wife to Europe next year. He agreed, must visit Colmar and walk reverently in the footsteps of Les Frenchies.
back from first trip to Paris about 6 weeks ago. Looking forward to my next trip to France. Eastern France e.g. Alsace is on the agenda!
This was very enjoyable watching you two enjoy Colmar so much!
We will be driving from Dijon to Strasbourg in September next year, so we will definitely be stopping in Colmar for a bite to eat and explore after seeing this.
Nice sharing 🌹🌹🌹
I always enjoy your content 👍🏾
always enjoy your clips
❤❤❤❤
If you visit France you should definitely visit Alsace. It's beautiful and the food and wines OMG. It's very crowded before Christmas time because of the Christmas markets but it's worth it.
Beautiful place and lovely video!… we have ancestors that are from this area and so this is definitely a place that we will come to in the near future! Thank-you
J'ADORE
3000 degree oven? No way. What’s he doing, smelting iron?
We will be there in 2 weeks…. we fell in Love with Colmar last year and is now our goto.
At 11:17 you were standing right near my wife and I's favorite Cafe…. Ma Dam's
❤ Thank You So Much
Podařilo se mi , nastavit titulky , i když nejsou v mé rodné řeči,
Děkuji za Vaše videa , věřím že v brzké době, si budu užívat vsech skvělých a dobrých delikates a poznávání Francie ❤
I truly thank you for showing an area of France that has me so intrigued. I’ve shared this video with my family and we’re all looking forward to visiting next time we’re there. Superb!
I’ve seen other videos on Colmar but this has been the best. Would love to visit someday.
