Day 14 – Hello Es Vedra – The Ibiza Swim 2023
On this day, I had the pleasure of keeping Es Vedra in my view for 3.5 hours of the day, as I swam from Cala Codolar to Cala d`hort. An 8km route passing through some of the most beuaitufl beaches of the south west coast, including Cala Tarida, Moli and Vedella.
After 2 hours and a few jet ski and boats cruising by at high pace, I found a natural rock spa to take a break in, to rest, nourish and hydrate, before continuing on into the beautiful, boat filled bay of Cala d’hort, with Es Vedra in view. Received a jelly fish sting while on camera, and decided, the next days swim around the island should rather skip my wishes of passing between Es Vedra and Es Vedranell, save time and distance, and keep it closer to the coast.
I finished up at 20:02, 4 hours after departing, and got in well in time to watch the beautiful sunset from the beach.

Thanks for joining me over the last two weeks for this epic and intense journey around the magical island of Ibiza.
Up next, watch this space as a damaged phone hinder documenting of my two biggest swims, but the solo pilgrimage and full focus saves me from some dangerous boat and Jetski close calls.
Coming soon at TheIbizaSwim.
Thanks Dan Brooks and Lucky Life Music for the soundtrack.

way to go bro, seems like lucky life TV or feel more than fine life always lead back to nature and solitude…i spend entire summers around all these places, not swimming but doing a lot of contemplation, grid work and meditations…we met in 2010…the years after till these days it is my fav. things to do and one way or another always come back to Es Vedra from anywhere around the world. Curious to hear your experience when you touch ES VEDRA…i never been that close. Nikos Akrivos
