Hi! Coincidentally just booked on Azamara yesterday. We are (were?) Regent cruisers and try to cruise every couple years (although COVID kinda threw that out the window) but decided to give Azamara a try next year for our anniversary holiday based in no small part your channel and a few others we've watched. As a couple approaching 50, we think the vibe will be a good fit and it seems to have some similarities to what we're used to with Regent. Although there are surely some fairly major differences, the core of what we enjoy, at least, seems to largely be with AZ as well…. such as laid back, casual, some relaxing activities, few if any kids, etc. The Regent ships we've tried (Voyager, Mariner) are perhaps a little larger than the R class (theatre for sure) but seem to have a lot of similarities for amenities. Jealous of your constant cruising and choices! Your idea on AI/GPT for planing a port is something I didn't think of and something I'll try. We're going to some small Canadian ports next year on Quest late next summer that are a little off the beaten path so it might be helpful and the AZ excursions seem a little underwhelming but still costly for what they are. Just wanted to drop you a note and say we enjoy your channel and the few videos we've watched so far. Subscribed and keep up the good content!
Let us know if you've ever sailed on Azamara or have a future booking. Where have you traveled to or where are you going?
These look like great options to try Azamara. I haven't cruised with them yet, so Africa and Asia look intriguing.
We just got back from are 3rd Azamara cruise, still love it,
