You don’t see the hours spent driving through less spectacular landscapes or some of the challenges we faced.

Full Disclosure:
This trip was predominantly self-funded. However, we did collaborate with Visit Obertauern. They invited us to explore their lovely destination both in winter and summer. In winter, we got treated to 6 complimentary nights at two beautiful hotels (Hotel Glöcknerin & Panorama Hotel Obertauern), a ski pass, a spa day, tickets to Gamsleiten Kriterium, an air boarding session, and ski lessons for Anna. In summer, the tourism board paid for our accommodation, food, and drinks at two mountain huts. All other costs of the trip were paid for by ourselves.
