Berlin , Fall 2024
In the fall of 2024, we visited Berlin during the anniversary of the Berlin Wall’s fall. On the first day, we explored the Berlin Wall Memorial and East Side Gallery, where I added a Propaganda Department sticker commemorating the Wall’s fall while critiquing Germany’s refugee policies and “new walls.” We also visited the DDR Museum to better understand East Germany. Over the next days, we explored the Museum of Technology, Topography of Terror, Memorial to the Jews of Europe, and German Historical Museum. The Reichstag visit was a highlight, while the Berlin TV Tower felt overpriced. We ended with stops at the Alte Nationalgalerie, Neues Museum, and Museum of Natural History, enjoying burgers before heading to the airport.
