enjoy your videos, but this one audio was not so good. Appreciate you sharing different places for comparison.
Why do they love induction stoves in the Philippines? Pizza in California for a large can go for $24 so almost the same. I love how your Chanel evolved.
Not to complain too much, but the video editing is approaching “annoying”.
When editing, you need to turn the audio volume down/off and lay down a separate narration track, so the viewer can hear the narration without all the background chatter and outside noise. When you two walked past the guy playing piano in the mall, it was ridiculous.
The music track you added is a bit too loud, and in some situations unnecessary.
Obviously you can mix in some interview pieces that are shot with one audio track if conditions permit.
But trying to narrate a video while getting in/out of cars, elevators, etc. just does not work.
In order to grow your channel/business…you either need to fire your current video editor (suspect that is you😎) or hire one.
The topics and style are good, it’s just way too much work for the viewer to dig the voices/dialogue out of the background noise.
Cheers!
The unit is noticeably old and stupidly expensive 😂
Not worth it IMO. I'm renting a nice, two-story house in a nice subd for P18k, and I'm not very far from Metro Manila.
This unit is extremely overpriced.. I hope he waits until mid 2025 when prices are going to dump about 30 or 40%.. Manila is a massive real estate bubble.. you know it and you should be honest about it.. you should also be honest with him about electricity costs. Yeah, those big windows are cool but when your electricity cost as much as your rent not too cool… you should also make sure and have an honest conversation with him that he even needs all the space.. you’re doing your clients a disservice by not protecting them.. you must always give them the good the bad and the ugly.. Westerners don’t like getting screwed over.. the more honest, you are with them the more you try to protect them the better your business will be.. because you’ll be known as the honest guy in town.. and trust me word-of-mouth travels very quickly.. you said you provide a full service I hope that includes not screwing him over and making sure you negotiate the lowest possible price based off of market conditions and how long the unit has been empty.. you and I both know there are thousands of empty units right now in Makati and over 1000 empty units in BGC..
Rockwell is overprice, just stick with Ayala they rock for price and amenities for the price, not cheap but good value. I thing I like about the mall here in PH versus back in the states, there are more food or restaurants choices laid out all across the mall whereas in the states, your stuck with the "FOOD COURT". lol
Hi Evan, enjoyed the last 2 videos. We are almost ready to go, see you soon! Appreciate the help you’ve given us so far! From Gabe Arcangel.
2nd property is horrible for that pice, just cus duplex and corner. Kitchen is nightmare, so tiny, can't do any serious cooking, which I would do as weightlifter, and guest bedroom no wall no privacy for them anyone in living room can hear them, wtf lol, and bathrooms slow, and main bedroom tiny no table or anything. Nightmare.
These builders dont know what foreigners like or need.
Not bad, esp 3rd and 4th, but 3rd still not comfortable enough prolly would only will to pay 80k-90k for it. Just don't feel right, what property has to offer, and the area, that price, even if can afford it, coming there idea is to save even if earn 6 figures ££. If I would get my dream property type, then sure, but in Thailand you get better for less, and areas got much more going on. For now at these prices I would stay in BGC cus still more to do without being stuck 3 hours in grab.
I'd love unobstructed views, facing evening sun, high floor, maybe duplex or corner at least, 100sqm+, with amazing gym / pool facilities, big kitchen for proper cooking, dining table, comfortably furnished – big comfie sofa, tv, big bedroom, space for table/workspace office table/chair, right in the middle of BGC, and no roaches/insects, properly cleaned and well working, cost efficient ACs, good property management, no floodings, who will accept deliveries on my behalf and bring it up. How much is that? Real price they will go down, not with all the foreigner chargers and 10 people taking a cut. Can I get that in BGC for 80-90k? I could pay 200k even, but just not enough incentive given what I get, but any property less than this makes me not want to stay there cus in Thailand can get that and cheaper, and more to do, plus can have medical cannabis there.
In BGC area drivers still ignore traffic lights ,or turn corners, in fb groups you can see people get hit all the time and marshalls do nothing, they drive off. It's kind off putting to pay such prices for not enough comfort. Idk. I will probably have to limit it to 80k-90k to feel decent, and if my job dont find out and fire me I'm working remotely abroad, I will get probably few clients on the side work, then won't matter as much if I waste 200k. Only at 200k pricepoint I saw some good properties in bgc in area I would wanna stay that would be worth it for me. And I still will have to fly to Thailand to smoke my medication I got prescription for in England.
At those prices I'm not impressed at all!!
I get it that it's prime location but I would expect better at those prices

Everyone e saying these units are overpriced. What do you all think is a reasonable price?
Thinking of what’s available in Bangkok for the same price, twice as big and more modern and nice. The Philippines is so overpriced. Not worth it.
A mano Rockwell is best pizza with Jabroni’s coming in at number 2. Jabroni’s pizza taste burnt to me so if ordering an entire pie ask them to under cook it. A DJI Osmo Pocket 3, Vlogging Camera should be a Christmas present to yourself.
Ridiculously high priced and simply not worth it
Is that the Picaso Hotel in Makati. Next to Cauliflower…… I use to eat there quite a bit and stayed at Picaso a few times.
I pay 1500 for a 2 bedroom coop in NYC and $17 for a pizza pie. Rockwell is very nice but expensive. Still I would consider it. Appreciate the video
Another great video Evan, we arrived in BGC three days ago. We traveled here from our home in central Wisconsin. We will be here for 3 weeks.
It’s nice to see content that applies to expats with larger budgets. You can have really nicely appointed living spaces here in the Philippines. Not necessary to rough it just travel for the beach vibes and come back to comfort that we are accustomed to 🙂
