  2. I wouldn't recommend moving to Puerto Rico if you're not of Puerto Rican descent or have some kind of relationship or connection with the island like being married to a local. The island is going through an identity crisis with the whole status issue of wanting to become either a state or independent nation. Also do not move for the Act20/22/60, you'll be getting yourself into a huge mess if you're just moving to the island for that, and you'll most likely leave the island after like 2 years there. Because of the status issue and the tax incentives, a lot of Puerto Ricans have grown resentful of non-Puerto Rican Americans with more buying power just moving in and buying up everything while real Puerto Ricans who have lived there for generations are being displaced. All in all, the island is amazing, it's a place I highly recommend taking a vacation too, but moving your whole life there isn't a good move, especially if you want to move there just for tax purposes, locals will hate you, the local Puerto Rican government is extremely corrupt so you'll have a difficult time getting things done, the US government will be watching you like a hawk because the tax incentives are easy to loophole and cheat, over 100 people who moved to the island for it have been arrested. Look up the videos by Bianca Graulau, she explains a lot about all these problems going on in the island.

  3. Puerto Rico can't even keep their power on. They are like the U.S. red-headed step kid nobody wants ! U.S. don't even want them as the 51st state !!!! Puerto Rico is like a colonoscopy……. Puerto Rico has Jake Paul….enuf said !!!

  4. As a veteran the VA hospital. I have had better treatment at VA hospital in Puerto Rico than in North Carolina. Be prepared to get fat if you move to Puerto Rico the food is so good. The people are some of the nicest people you will ever meet till they get into a car and all the niceties go out the window. They have some of the best coffee grown there

  5. You’re not gonna live comfortably in DR for 1500$.Maybe for Dominican standards but not for American/European standards.I’d say 2000-2500€ for person at least

  6. I was station at RR in 63 to 65. 2 yrs, 8 months. Left there 59 years ago. I am sure there have been many changes in 59 years. Base was closed in 2004. Always enjoyed going into San Juan.
