  1. Only in Edinburgh would the cut down the tress besides the national gallerys to improve the accessibility in Prince street garden then block access to the same path with a gigantic light up Edinburgh sign. It a lovely photogenic sign but takes away a 3rd of the paths and stairs it could be on the grass besides the mound like it used to be besides the Norwegian tree looked fab there.

  2. i've been there last friday just when they opened… very charming atmosphere… but the prices for food and drink..holy shit… one so-called original Bratwurst from Germany 9 £, a small cup of (bad) Glühwein 7£….but hey, i was the first time there… so only because of the vibe😄

  3. Baa Humbugs, these markets are nothing but greedy exploitation, out to grab a quick buck! Why not buy a " big issue" or throw a few quid to the homeless lying on the infamous " royal mile". That's the true meaning of Christmas, not traders out to fleece you! And I don't want to freeze to death 💀 doing it! Ho ho ho…..😊

  4. Wonderful video – thank you so much. I will be visiting from Germany on Dec 8 with my daugther. I love Edinburgh and have been here several times but never around Christmas time. Hence very excited 🙂

  5. Girl we went day 1 Nov 15th! So crowded but so worth it! We rode of the swing! It was really cool to ride that high next to the Scott monument! I liked the long walk they created and all the lights. Super cute Christmas market. I just wish they had more home made goods. Thankful for your other recommendations to shop and support local artists! I also got a pin that you created! <3 It was a magical time in Scotland! We lucked out with great weather.

  6. I would love to go to this. Thanks so much for showing it to us. It is my dream to live in Edinburgh someday. Just a normal person going to work every day, living a normal life and enjoying the beauty of Scotland.

  7. Thank you so much for covering this!! When I studied abroad I went on a misadventure on my first day attempting to get a burger downtown during the market. It's good to see what it's supposed to look like while I'm not terrified and holding chippy in my hands!
