For 2024 summers trip we went to Berchtesgaden in Germany and Flachau in Austria. In Berchtesgaden we visit the Königssee which was a really beautifull little town near the Königssee. It also was Hitlers former and favorite holiday residence back in the day. The little church is the Sint-Bartholomeüs church in the midle of lake.
The caste is Burgt Hohenwerfen in the valley between the mountains. Accually you can see it when you drive the A10 highway just under Salzburg.
