  1. Nickie and Carlo, your home is looking fantastic. Getting rid of the vines on the walls is a good idea, and the freshly painted walls look so much better. All the things you've done have made it a very comfortable house to live in. You make a good team, I enjoy seeing what you have done. Don't be upset about the olives, its an easy mistake to make 😊😊. I envy you with all the wonderful markets and second hand places you get to go to, they would be so much fun to look around. For the extra room outside, I reckon a living and dining area, with a bar b que like Carlo said. You would find it a lovely place to spend time during summer. A nice dining table and a couple of comfy chairs, how nice that would be😊😊 All the best from Australia

  2. I keep wondering why you guys use brushes instead of rollers for painting and also why such small brushes? Seems like you work so hard at what could take half the time and get thicker coat of paint on.

  3. You both have done a wonderful job on the house. I love the colour; I believe it's in the traditional tone of the area. I'm in Cephalonia Greece where we're influenced by the Venician & French architecture and colours and most of our homes are in similar shades (mine included). As for the olives, here, an easy way to make them edible is to place them in a large jar (without cutting them at all) with water and salt – shake them once in a while and change the water and salt over a time of 20 days. At the end of 20 days they should be edible enough. If they're still too bitter to your liking, you repeat the process till you're satisfied. We take out a bunch each time and place them in a bowl with olive oil, vinegar and oregano. So you see, there are different ways to do the same thing. It does have to do with what taste you're used to. Have a wonderful Christmas season – am looking forward to more videos.

  4. Oh dear me well at least you made a couple of jars of olives 😂 you won’t do that again!! Apart from that minor error the jobs are going really well, the house looks great and Carlo did a super job with the lovely water feature.

  5. You and Carlo are such hard-working people 🙏 You’re doing such a beautiful job. I checked the temperature in Tuscany today and I know it was like 49° I’ve put away all my outdoor fountains etc. how do you keep yours out and still going in the cold I know 49 isn’t bad but it said that Tuscany gets lower than that down in the 30s degrees… Carlo threw you under the bus about the olives 😂 at the end of each video sometimes when Carlo is talking in Italian and the words come below , I can’t see what he saying because I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ what you would call it maybe your emblem/ photo etc covers the ending conversation. What can I change to see that it usually goes a little dark at the end, I don’t wanna miss a second of the conversation. ❤

  6. The vines remind me of ivy. Also invasive and destructive. I also used to never have problems with heights. My mom once told me that as you get older you start to lose your equilibrium. It’s a bummer!😅
    The house looks amazing!

  7. The house looks fabulous…so much nicer without the vines 😊 What a lovely job you've done. And I too have experienced the same on a ladder … a new 'mini panic' sfter climbing about 6-7 rungs which never occurred when I was younger! As soon as i hit my mid50s the new fear-of-climbing-a-ladder height issue began. I can no longer clean things on a tall ladder. So frustrating but it seems to be just another reminder of being older and needing to be a bit more careful 😊. Please let other do the "high heights" work and stay safe. You do beautiful work on all your projects!

  8. The fountain looks great but if you don't get rid of the skinny excuse for a tree in the middle of the step path by the pool I am going to lose my mind! LOL

  9. I’m an artist and I’d be happy to have my studio in your dining room/gym 😉 I’d have it as a casual multipurpose room – sometimes to read a book/have a cuppa, or go on my walking pad/exercise bike. If you put a sofa bed in then it can be a spare room for guests. Your house looks like heaven on earth. Don’t push yourself to go high up on the ladder, just stand on a chair with a big stick 😊

  10. The house is becoming a home, you guys are doing a great job. . Nicki Sage is delicious, you can sauté it with butter and put it on top of chicken or meat, or if you bake meats or poultry just put it on top, love to use it with rosemary, also you can make tea, have lots of benefits, and if you let it dry you can burn it as incense it get rid of bad energies lol, they have medical studies on sage.
