Place to live alright
The island is so lovely ❤❤
12:11 that's pretty amazing
Discovered this island by accident while screwing about with Google Maps (I supposed to be doing GIS homework) and fell in love on first sight. Itś small, remote, beautiful weather, and is almost perfectly circular. Yeah, you have to worry about volcanic eruptions once in a while, but apart from that, perfect place to retire.
Terceira island was the official fueling stop, not Sta Maria as you stated. US base has downsized its operations in Lajes.
