Can’t recommend this book enough, absolutely brilliant it’s full of very useful tips . We planned our trip at least 6 months in advance and to fully enjoy the experience I would recommend 10 days at least.

As I call it, the photo race mob. See it all the time in Scotland. Vehicles pull into carparks, everyone jumps out, runs around taking photos, jump back into vehicles and race off. What kind of holiday is that, it's comical just watching them. 🙄
Great book used this to plan our route two years ago well worth it😊 14 days travelling around and two days to get there and back 16 in total
Got your book before we did the nc500 in sept 22 over 2 weeks in a hired California plan,plan and plan ! And try and fit in skye. We had a brilliant time, its a wonderful trip.
It looks amazing and I’m hoping to do it soon. I think your NC500 guide book is coming for Christmas! I must just say the South West guide book has been invaluable in helping me plan my first solo trip. Somerset first stop in January, roughly anti-clockwise! I’ve photocopied the itinerary pages from the back and now have my plan. Top tip; draft it in pencil!! Working on the Cornwall road trip next. Wales and Lake District books on the coffee table, did I mention how brilliant they are?! Thank you. X
Hi. One of your tips was not to use postcodes, but Google and What3Words. How would you use Google if not using postcodes? Do you mean Google maps, or do you mean just by typing a place name into the search engine?
