Positano is the most iconic village on the Amalfi Coast, a famous place set on the spectacular strip of coastline with the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea to one side and the peaks of the Lattari Mountains to the other. With its spectacular setting on a green, rocky cliff between Amalfi and Sorrento, Positano offers that postcard-perfect spot with colorful buildings terraced up sea cliffs overlooking turquoise waters of Mediterranean. The narrow streets lined with artisan shops, cozy cafes, and stylish boutiques selling fashionable clothing and accessories and elegant hotels make Positano an enchanting destination for an unforgettable experience. It is a real pressure to wander the picturesque streets of Positano with many little shops and restaurants, with stepped streets and narrow alleyways enjoying a festive, colorful atmosphere. I also visited the church of Santa Maria Assunta, built in the second half of the 10h century. The history of the Church is closely linked to the Byzantine icon of the Black Madonna with Child, which is said to have arrived in Positano in the 12th century after it had been stolen from Byzantium and transported by pirates across the Mediterranean. The icon is venerated in the church until today. The church has a characteristic dome for the Amalfi Coast made of majolica tiles.
Set between the mountains and the sea, the Amalfi Coast is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is one of Italy’s most memorable destinations. Located in the Campania region of Italy, the Amalfi Coast displays sky-high costal cliffs raised from the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The coast with its picturesque and multicolored seaside towns offers the traveler probably the most stunning views in Italy.

Ciao Dante è sempre un piacere vedere i tuoi video la mattina. Ci presenti sempre luoghi piacevoli e festosi. Positano è sempre bella da vedere con le sue belle casette, il mare meraviglioso con i battelli delle persone straricche. Una volta con mio marito avevamo pensato di acquistare un battello ma poi abbiamo rinunciato perché soffriamo di mal di mare e poi è molto costoso mantenerla. Meglio stare sulla terra ferma allora abbiamo acquistato la casa al mare. Più tranquilla. Avevamo un amico che aveva la barca a vela e girava moltissimo. Nella prossima vita a meno che non rinasca come un vermicello😅😂 Tu che sei un viaggiatore non ci hai mai fatto un pensierino, oppure un camper. Va beh anche tu quando rinascerai.
