I invite you to an unconventional walk over the ancient Walls of Pisa enjoying the beautiful views of the Leaning Tower, Duomo di Pisa and the city seen from the walkway of the Pisa’s Walls. The walkway of the Pisa’s Walls gives the visitor the possibility to enjoy from above (11 meters high), the beautiful places of Pisa, including Piazza dei Miracoli with its beautiful Cathedral, Baptistery and the Leaning Tower. The walls of Pisa are among the most ancient in Italy preserved almost entirely intact. The building of the Pisa’s Walls began in 1154 and lasted until 1161, when the first segment of the wall was built of gray limestone, called marmble of San Giuliano. The Wall of Pisa was completed later of the pink grey stone of Asciano, used at the end of 1346.
Pisa is a city in Tuscany, central Italy, straddling the Arno just before it empties into the Ligurian Sea. It is the capital city of the Province of Pisa. Although Pisa is well known worldwide for its leaning tower, the city has much more architectural treasures, an important heritage from its history as one of the Italian maritime republics, from its beautiful historic churches and medieval palaces to the picturesque bridges across the Arno River.

Ciao Dante grazie per aver caricato il video di Pisa con la sua Torre Pendente ed il Battistero che come tu sai mi evocano bellissimi ricordi. Giorni fa ho letto che Mussolini ha cercato di raddrizzare la Torre ma dopo i lavori pendeva più di prima. La Torre, secondo me, deve restare così altrimenti perde la sua caratteristica che porta molti turisti a visitare Pisa. La pendenza dipende dalla fragilità del terreno. Bella anche la musica. Ieri ti ho scritto u commento sulla processione poiché non hai risposto, e tu usi questo sistema quando c'è qualcosa che non ti va a genio l'ho cancellato tanto non era niente di importante. Però penso che non sia molto cortese da parte tua usare questo sistema. Inventane un altro😅 cari saluti da Daniela.🐈⬛🦋🦢💐🌹🌹
