    The last few months on our narrowboat have been tough, so in this episode of Vlogmas 2024, we’re taking the advice of our friends, family, and some of our lovely community, and jetting off abroad for a short city break holiday. Any guesses where we’re going? In this episode we swap canal boats for aeroplanes, as we set off for Nice, France, in search of Christmas markets and quaint French beaches. With a severe lack of sleep, and a tiring journey, will it all be worth it in the end? 🌊🛫

      Good for you guys! omg! brings me back to a trip with my mom, ,may grandma and my sister years ago…. my mom and grandma are passed ono but Nice was amazing and I love that you guys are making memories!       It's good to see the beaches of Nice have not changed in the many years since I was there. Foot killing rocks that, although they are smooth, come together in a bone bruising way with every agonizing step, 😂! Only the locals can walk barefoot on that beach without looking desperately ridiculous. So glad you got a moment to get away, you both deserve it, I hope you enjoyed your night.

      So wonderful to see you are investing in yourselves at last. If you want to watch amusing vlogs by a British playwrite and his French partner who live in Villefranche look at Me and Mon Ami. They have a Citroen Ami and visit all over the Riviera, Monaco and into Italy. Looking forward to your adventures tomorrow after a good night's sleep.

      Funny,we were there a few months ago. Have a great time☀️ Tram you just hop on to the first stop then you can buy the top up card oh and can use trainline for trains tickets much easier. There’s some great vegan places. Koko green, utopia, and definitely full bloom cafe ☕️. Oat is avoine! Had the same problem ☺️ Hope you have better luck than we did getting home (stuck there for two extra days).

      I was also told once, that sea glass can sometimes be made when lightening hits the sand, and the massively high temperatures of impact melt the sand and make glass ( which of course glass is made from) but most likely a bottle broken on the beach at some point! I am so happy to see you are having a nice break. You both deserve a break with all you have been through recently. Xx

      Love that place , I always spend my summer holidays there and fell in love for the first time with a wonderful guy a long time ago. I hope you find some rest see you tomorrow
