The day we crossed the Indo-Myanmar Border and reached Tamu (the first town after the border), the same day we left for Mandalay (the second-largest city in Myanmar) by mini van which cost us Rs. 1025 per head. As it was a overnight bus we saved on hotel expenses.
We reached Mandalay next morning itself, the van driver dropped us right in front of our hotel which we had already booked using the Goibibo app (This app shows really cheap places to stay) for a night for Rs. 650
After some rest we went to some top tourist spots and had some local street food while exploring the markets of Mandalay.
Next afternoon we left for Bagan
