      My favorite memory of 2024 was going to my first Very Merry Christmas Party. The only disappointment was yet another year of missing Candlelight Processional. Planning for next year as soon as I can book my stay at Old Key West on January 1st.

      It really says something that I'm stressed about only choosing 4, but I would definitely say Riviera, Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo), CC @ Wllderness Lodge and the Poly. I'm sure once I try Aulani, that will rank right up there also!

      my Mt Rushmore would be Aulani, Grand Cal, Poly, and Boulder Ridge. I did this like Derek did… if I only had 4 resorts that I could stay at, these would be the 4 for sure!

      Not DVC yet but would like to be a member.
      My Fam is on the west coast so I would guess DisneylandVillas and Aulani would be half of my potential Mt Rushmore. Thx for the insight and great info!

      1) Animal Kingdom Villa,
      2) Copper Creek Villas,
      3) Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
      4) Vero Beach Resort.

      Hi there! My ā€˜Mount Rushmoreā€™ would beā€¦.
      – Old Key West (the OG, like Washington)
      – Animal Kingdom Lodge (channel Roosevelt regaling us with tales from his African expedition)
      – Hilton Head (History buffs driving to DisneyWorld from the North (who donā€™t mind a little bit of a stroll off the most efficient path) can take the opportunity to stop by Fort Sumter on the South Carolina coast and tour the national historical park where the Civil War began – and then take their latest Lincoln biography down with them to sit on the beach at this (relatively) nearby island resort! ā€¦ and eat some amazing seafood ! ā€¦ and see a show at a local theater, maybe?? Or donā€™t risk it, and just stay at that beachā€¦)
      – Boardwalk (calculating founding father Jefferson knew a good location when he saw one (- someone coerce Derek into watching Hamilton the Musical to see Jefferson work those negotiation skillz for a nationā€™s capital on the Potomac)! You all know our first Secretary of State would appreciate patronizing the food and beverages around the world at EPCOT then strolling back to his accommodationsā€¦

      So I have only stayed at two DVC resorts so far but from videos I will say my Mt Rushmore would be

      2. AKL
      3. Poly
      4. Riviera
