We Are Not Brave Enough To Carry On Ep 114

We have reached the end of this journey on our narrowboat. Join us onboard Narrowboat One Day More as we l head down the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal to Sharpness where we could head out onto the tidal River Severn if we were brave enough.

Hello! Join us in our day to day life as we continuously cruise the canals and rivers of the UK. All of the ups, and the downs and everything in between!

  1. I've travelled all over England when I lived there but mainly cities, and it's down to you guys that I've been able to see beautiful places that I never got to or knew about. Thanks ๐Ÿ‘

  2. The only problem I have with your videos is when poppy and Hamish come on, my little dog attacks the tv screen with his tail wagging, when he sees dogs in real life it's all friendly but on the telly he goes mad. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  3. Another terrific vlog Caroline. Well done and thank you. I love the shot of Pete with Hamish and Poppy. The Sharpness canal looks amazing; it's all so beautiful and calm. Your vlogs offer a welcome respite from all the craziness out there. Thanks again.

  4. Another peaceful vlog the Sharpness seems more like a river than a canal so wide. Not having to work the swing bridges makes it easy on you. One dog back pack clever. Neat to see the estuary but maybe not so good to venture out on it. The boat grave yard i am looking forward to see that in your next vlog. Stay safe and well out there, Ed 40 S of Vegas

  5. How delightful and peaceful!you catch so much beauty and I love how you describe the history you encounter !Of course, then there. Is Hampshire and Poppy๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’“๐ŸŽถBe safe

  6. I have always loved all of your blogs and really do appreciate on how much effort that has been put into with all the recording and editing that is done before posting your blogs of your journey on your beautiful narrow boat home. Also i would like to wish Caroline, pete, Hamish, poppy, Alex all a very Merry Christmas ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ & a Happy New year to you all

  7. Not brave enough but more enjoying travel many thing you see and happy travels as your family plus you have great company with your dogs there nothing wrong about not brave enough! I notice that wife and husband and dogs more pleasure traveling more learning old history narrow boat I think more than 200 years ago where they start it you have good memories and great capital narrowboat !โค

  8. Pete and Caroline another great vlog. Love the scenery along the canal. So different from the other canals. Nice not to have to open bridges or locks. Hope you and the doggies have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years.

  9. That canal is so wide – You could do 360s!! Those barges look so lovely – think of all the space! Did you open up the engine and run full throttle? That must be fun. That estuary is BIG water, and looks like a lot of rip tides – not sure I'd want to get on that in a narrowboat. The magic word treat didn't work? Ah the BALL…

  10. Love the photo of Pete and the dogs. It's sweet to see Hamish carried as well. Being an older boy I'm sure he gets tired. I've heard bad things about the River Severn so that might be the best idea to pass on it for now. Wasn't it just recently in flood? That nice wide canal seems more safe! โค

  11. Thank you for a lovely video of the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal. Where the boats are moored along the way , are these private moorings or can you moor along there too. Have a very Merry Christmas a Happy New Year both of you and the doggies. ๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ…

  12. Great vlog again, guys! I so love to see all the different boats and liveaboards! When i was a teenager i saw this long documentary about a boating community on a lake near San Francisco and it always stuck in my head how everybody lived on all sizes of boats and floating homes, i even read a book about it which i finally found on eBay!
Longing now for those tshirt days again here, not a fan of the cold. Thanks for the interesting journey, have a great weekend!

  13. Thank you for the video – Hope you guys are doing well. Merry Christmas. I need to try a Greggs sausage roll. Just saw one and thought it looked great. Snowed and cold here. Think middle Wisconsin had about 6 inches of snow. Low last night in the single digits. Take care – God Bless…

  14. Hiya enjoyed your video as always am back and forward to Milton Keynes hospital, as mum is in there now ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข.
Take care, love to you all ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–.

  15. Thank You for an extremely enjoyable video. To let the scenery do the talking, with well chosen musical accompaniment adding to the whole experience, was a very wise decision! Definitely subbed. Youโ€™re doing it right, long may you continue cruising! Keep Well.

  16. My boat is currently moored in Sharpness marina for the winter as due to flooding on the river Severn I could not cruise back to my marina on the Llangollen canal itโ€™s a lovely area.In the spring I will be crossing the tidal Severn into Bristol docks itโ€™s absolutely amazing as I did the trip in 2018 with a local Pilot then across to the Thames.Great Vlog thanks.
