Europe’s Hardest Bikepacking Race – ALPS DIVIDE 2024

This was by far the hardest but most amazing bike ride of my life. Starting in Menton, at the Mediterranean Sea, I cycled through the French alps and some parts of Italy and Switzerland, to the beautiful Thonon-les-Bains at lake Geneva. In total, the route was 1.050 km and 32.000 meters of climbing.

Of course, I cannot show everything that happened during the race, but I tried to capture the stunning scenery and various emotions during the event. I had many lows and at least as many highs during the race. It truly was amazing and i am proud to have finished it, given the very difficult conditions.
