Congrats on 20k subscribers! Btw, does Genki insurance cover ninja attack cats gnawing on your femur? π€
I dream of living in thailand with my wife daily. We will soon have passive income of approx Β£3000 per month would this be achievable living full time in thailand
Thank you for sharing
Great content β€ awesome.
My car insurance here in Miami is $7500 a year.
My apartment in Medellin is $750 a month.
My flight to BKK (qSuite) $6K
Great video, thank you. Would be interesting to hear what a full medical consists of for you- what bloods, does it include scans etc? I'm really enjoying your journey.
Love your vids, a happy 2025 to you. Where will you be going to next? Will be interesting to see a video of you planning your entire year and executing that plan.
Its only possible cause you are single. The minute you introduce a woman into the equation your expenses will probably triple and you'll go broke or work till 70 plus before you can retire. By that time your body would need an overhaul.
Congrats on an amazing year! Hereβs to a great 2025!!!!
You look great for 54. I tried guessing your age, thought you are in between 43-45. You look healthy. Great for you retiring this way. My plan is to do it once i retire. I been to most countries in Asia, but haven't lived there. Don't mind giving my money to some Asia country vs USA. What i seen from visiting countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Bali, Malaysia, i noticed people are much more happier and sincere than they are in usa.
Food is of course better in Asia than in Usa. And i love walking culture and safety in Asia. Much safer than any city in Usa. Traffic can be annoying but that is ok ,you get used to it.
Great Information !
So in the beginning of the year, I first came across your YouTube channel and subscribed to learn more. Now the year is soon to be over 2025~ and I'm almost convinced, that I will go to Bangkok to see for myself, everything you have been sharing and your wonderful journey!
I first have to get the funds together, because even though it may be very affordable, the flip side is the expensive airfare! I will visit for 40 days to get the most of my visit. I already have my passport and looked into how many days, could I stay without a visa.
And it's very affordable, I did extensive research and love the idea of going to Thailand!ππ½
I absolutely love the fruit ππ banana and coconut π₯₯π΄π
Hi Chris, you mentioned air tickets, do you normally book return tickets or one way? I know some countries want to know you have a return date? Thanks
Health insurance seems expensive for those over 65 in Thailand, don't forget that there are now tax implications for anyone staying over 180 days in Thailand
Your lifestyle is every man's dream like myself. I'm currently living with $1,050.00/mo as a share rental and $240.00/mo for storage. That $500/mo rental is like a dream come true. You are giving me inspiration. Thanks for sharing your journey lifestyle in Thailand.
Amazing content and brilliant videos this journey is best Iβve ever seen and herd of this amazing project you set your self is the future of every manβs dreams and im lucky enough to be doing same thing for 2 months of the year until I too can retire in Thailand your amazing channel will 100% grow to be the biggest and most successful on YouTube happy travels learnt me so much 2025 will be amazing year π«Ά
You have inspired me to take up this lifestyle. I'm going on 54 myself so it's about time. And I need to meet some ninja cats. I've had my rabipur shots just in case my leg is torn off!
Hi Chris, I understand your numbers of $2K per month but what about fixed costs at home: do you keep a property in the US to return to (that needs some payments)?
How do you find the $15.00 hotels? Just walk around or internet? Even $20. is not to shabby. I have enjoyed very much your videos. When traveling in FR in the 90's i ate just as you do in the hotel room. Much cheaper and more healthy for sure. The question about healthcare is what if a delicate robotic surgery is needed. Where will it be done? Read the fine print i guess. Very good questions you are asking us about retiring and living in Asia. You chose well. My Grandma advised me that the golden years are not so golden and to do it while you are "young". Thanks!
I love lamb kabobs, Sorry lammy.
Great update on your travel costs, thanks Chris. If possible on future monthly cost videos, would be great to see all the individual costs (plus total) on a table. Thanks πππΈ
How do you manage banking while living the Nomad lifestyle? Do you maintain a US Bank account? And any concerns about losing access to your investment accounts created as a US citizen while traveling overseas???? I've heard this can happen ..
Thx for Honesty. Great Explanation on lifestyle and Cost. Keep on keeping on. πͺ
All the best!
..
Great video; thanks for the help : Iβm sure you have helped us
Are you able to make some income from YouTube?
Hi Chris. Merry Christmas and HNY. I have loved watching your videos throughout the year and they keep me on track to what I want to achieve in the future. And thanks for showing my favourite street food in Pattaya, McDoners. A proper British inspired lamb kebab with all the trimmings that goes down a treat after a few drinks. Fantastic and Iβll have another one in April next year π stay safe.
Are You on an O visa, an O-A visa? Something different or making runs to the border?
Stop BS, there is no way you pay $700 from USA to anywhere in Asia. π
